1099 Telehealth Nurse Practitioner

Location: Fully Remote (United States)

Compensation: $60–78/hour + competitive bonus structure, administration time pay, and paid onboarding

Commitment: Part-time (1099); 15 patient-facing hours/week minimum (~18–20 total weekly hours including administrative time and required clinical meetings)

About the Role

Visana Health is a virtual women’s clinic providing compassionate, evidence-based care for complex and historically overlooked conditions, including endometriosis, fibroids, chronic pelvic pain, and heavy menstrual bleeding. We are seeking mission-driven Nurse Practitioners (NP, FNP, or CNM) to deliver high-touch virtual care and collaborate with an expert clinical team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, compassionate virtual care visits using evidence-based care and treatment plans.
• Deliver timely follow-up via messaging, phone calls, and lab/test result reviews.
• Complete accurate clinical documentation and billing within 24 hours of each encounter.
• Attend weekly clinical meetings to discuss complex cases and share clinical insights.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 4+ years of NP experience in women’s health (via clinical practice, specialty certification, or both).
• Licensure: Active, unencumbered NP/CNM licenses and prescriptive authority with independent practice eligibility where applicable.
• Multistate Coverage: Active licenses in at least 3 states, including:
• Group A (at least 1): CA, NY, IN, GA, OH, TN, MN, AZ, or PA.
• Group B (at least 1): VA, MO, KY, CO, FL, TX, MS, AL, NC, AR, CT, or NJ.
• Certification: Board-certified in Family Practice, Adult Health, Women’s Health, or Nurse-Midwifery; active DEA registration.
• Availability: Consistent Friday coverage and minimum 15 direct patient hours/week (shifts available between 6:30 AM – 10:00 PM local time).

Preferred Qualifications

• Dual background in primary care and women’s health.
• Prior experience with Athenahealth EMR and telehealth platforms.
• Multilingual skills.
