Cardiovascular Institute of the South (CIS) is a physician-owned, physician-led cardiology practice founded in 1983 to provide cardiovascular care to communities across the southern United States. The practice spans prevention, diagnostics and treatment of heart and vascular conditions, and forms part of Cardiovascular Logistics (CVL), a multi-entity platform through which cardiology practices collaborate and grow.
CIS operates 23 locations across Louisiana and Mississippi, supports 10 hospitals and fields a team of more than 60 cardiologists.
